AAP to fight on all 68 seats in HP: Satyendar Jain

Solan, Jan 30 (UNI) Delhi Health Minister Satyendar Jain on Saturday announced that AAP would contest assembly elections on all 68 seats in Himachal Pradesh.

He was phoo-phooing the political discussions concerning the dusky future of Aam Adami Party (AAP) in this hilly state.

Mr Jain said AAP was gradually establishing its base amongst the common people and party would certainly deliver the results in coming assembly elections in 2022 in this hilly state.

Earlier, Jain, a senior AAP leader who arrived at Solan on Saturday was accorded a warm welcome by party workers here.

Health Minister Satyendar Jain said the AAP has also entered the Devbhoomi. He said the AAP, which has emerged as the third option in Himachal Pradesh would enter the state in the upcoming 2022 assembly elections.



Ms Jain said the Aam Aadmi Party has also entered in Devbhoomi adding that in the assembly elections, people of the state will support the AAP this time, and not the BJP.

He said the way development has been done in the field of health education in Delhi, there will be development in Himachal Pradesh on the same lines. He said Congress and BJP governments keep changing in Himachal Pradesh after five years but now the people of the state have Aam Aadmi Party as the third option.

He expressed hope that the people of the state will bring the AAP to power in the 2022 elections.

SAD: Centre file criminal cases against officers & goons who attacked farmer camp at Singhu

Addressing a press conference here, party senior leader Bikram Singh Majithia also demanded that since the Delhi Police and goons accompanying them had committed human rights violations, Punjab Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh should also register appropriate cases against them and take follow up action. He said the SAD would submit a formal complaint in this regard to the Chief Minister.
