Minor Girl Gets Pregnant After Shopkeeper, Son Rape Her In UP's Ballia

In yet another case of shocking incident, a 14-year-old girl in UP's Ballia district was allegedly raped by a man and his son in a village, police said on Saturday.

According to the police complaint, the girl went to buy some items from the nearby shop in her village about three-months ago when the shopkeeper allegedly raped her and threatened to kill her family if she reported the incident to anyone, said police.

A week later, she again went to the same shop when this time shopkeeper's son allegedly raped her and threatened to keep her mouth shut otherwise he will harm her family members.

The incident came to light when girl's family took her to a doctor on Thursday when she was not feeling well after the incident. They came to know that she was three months pregnant, police officials added.

Superintendent of Police Vipin Tada said on the complaint of the girl's father, an FIR has been lodged against the two accused on Friday and the girl has been sent for a medical examination.
