CTET 2021 exam today, follow these guidelines

NEW DELHI: Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is all set to conduct the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) on Sunday, January 31, 2021 in two shifts.
The CTET examination is being conducted during Covid-19 pandemic and will be conducted only for one day. Therefore, the Board has made elaborate arrangements for the safe conduct of examination at all the examination centres. Candidates are advised to follow the guidelines issued by the CBSE.
Candidates are permitted to carry following items to the examination centres:-
* Carry pocket hand sanitizer (50ml) in transparent bottle.
* Carry face mask
* Hand gloves only on hands
* Transparent water bottle for personal use.
* Admit Card & Identity Card i.e., Aadhar Card, Driver Lenience, Voter ID etc.

* Your will follow social distancing norms strictly.
* You will carry your own drinking water
* You will not exchange or loan articles inside examination room.
* You will use safe mode of transportation for coming to the examination centre and returning back to home.
* You will follow all instructions displayed in examination centre and communicated to you.
* You should try to avoid contact with unknown persons.
* You will throw used tissue/face mask, if any, into closed bins immediately after use.
* You will maintain good hygiene in toilets during and after use.
* You should not touch eyes, nose or mouth with unwashed hands.
* You will not shake hands or hug at any cost while greeting.
* You refrain yourselves from spitting in public places.
* You should be confident that you are not infected or having symptoms of Covid.
* You will seek advice on Covid-19 from your parents while coming/leaving for examination.
The Candidates must download the Self-Declaration along with this Admit Card and follow the Instructions as mentioned in the guidelines.
1. The Candidates should report at the examination centre 120 minutes before the commencement of examination. Candidate will not be allowed to enter the Examination Centre after the commencement of the examination under any circumstances in each paper.
2. Candidate should bring their own blue/black ball point pen for filling OMR Sheet as CBSE will not provide Ball point pens for CTET-JANUARY 2021 Exam.
3. Candidate without having proper admit card and photo id proof shall not be allowed in the examination centre under any circumstances by the Centre Superintendent.
4. Candidate shall not be allowed to leave the examination hall before the conclusion of examination, without signing the attendance sheet second time and without submitting the OMR Sheet to the invigilator.
5. Before writing particulars on the cover page of Test Booklet, it may be verified by the candidate that the Test Booklet must contain same number of pages as written on the top of the cover page. Candidate shall not remove any pages(s) from the Test Booklet and if any page(s) is/are found missing from his/her Test Booklet, he/she is liable for suitable action under Unfair Means.
6. Candidate should use only blue/black ball point pen to write/fill his/her particulars on Test Booklet and OMR Sheet. Use of pencil, white fluid and over writing/ cutting on test booklet and OMR sheet is strictly prohibited.
7. Candidate should ensure that he/she has darkened the correct circles for providing information i.e. Roll Number, Subject Attempted, Supplement Language Booklet Code, Test Booklet Number and Code etc in the OMR Sheet.

9. On completion of the test, the candidates must handover the OMR Sheet to the invigilator in the room/hall and take away Test Booklet only.
10. Candidate must follow the instructions strictly as mentioned in the information bulletin.
11. The Candidates are advised to visit their allotted examination centre one day before the date of examination in order to confirm its location, distance, mode of transport etc.
12. The candidates suffering from diabetes are allowed to carry into the examination hall, the eatables like sugar tablets/ chocolate/candy, fruits (like banana/apple/orange) and Snack items like sandwich. However, the food items shall be kept with the Invigilators at the examination centre concerned, who on their demand, shall hand over the eatables to these candidates..
13. The CTET Unit uploads CTET related information at its website www.ctet.nic.in. It is the responsibility of candidate to visit CTET website regularly for information and updates.
