The Coachella Valley, Music and Arts Festival, has been cancelled again.
According to Billboard, the annual festival was scheduled for 9-11 April and 16-18 April. Last year the festival was postponed from April to October but was eventually cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Dr Cameron Kaiser, the public health officer for Riverside County where the festival is held every year, announced on Twitter.
"Due to the pandemic, Public Health Officer Dr Cameron Kaiser today (29 Jan) signed a public health order cancelling Coachella Valley Music and Arts, Stagecoach Country Music festivals planned for April 2021. We look forward to when the events may return."

CNN further reports that the decision was made "based on concerns of a fall resurgence of Covid-19 both within the county of Riverside and worldwide."
