Release dates: Every Bollywood movie confirmed to hit cinema halls in 2021

After suffering huge losses due to the coronavirus-induced lockdown in 2020, Bollywood seems to be slowly recuperating. With cinema halls allowed to operate at over 50 per cent seating capacity, 2021 looks hopeful for the Hindi film industry. And to make the best of it, producers are fast grabbing the best release slots. Here's a confirmed list of all the movies that are set to have a theatrical release in 2021.

Tuesdays And Fridays - February 19
The Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Bhushan Kumar production launches yesteryear actor Poonam Dhillon's son Anmol Thakeria Dhillon and former beauty queen Jhataleka Malhotra. Haathi Mere Saathi - March 26
After its shooting got disrupted due to the lockdown last year, the Rana Daggubati-starrer is finally set to hit cinema halls. The Prabhu Solomon directorial revolves around the conservation of elephants. Also featuring Vishnu Vishal, Pulkit Samrat, Shriya Pilgaonkar and Zoya Hussain, Haathi Mere Saathi has been simultaneously shot in Tamil as Kaadan and Telugu as Aranya. Bell Bottom - April 2
Directed by Ranjit M Tewari, the espionage thriller, starring Akshay Kumar in the lead role, is said to be inspired by true events. Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai - Eid (date to be announced)
Keeping up with tradition, Salman Khan has blocked Eid for his much-awaited Radhe. Prabhudheva, who has previously worked with Salman Khan in films like Wanted and Dabangg 3, has helmed this action thriller too. Radhe also stars Disha Patani, Jackie Shroff, Zarina Wahab and Randeep Hooda. It is being bankrolled by Salman Khan Films, Sohail Khan Productions, and Reel Life Production. Satyameva Jayate 2 - May 14
A sequel of Satyameva Jayate (2018), this one brings back John Abraham as Virendra Rathod, while Divya Khosla Kumar joins the cast. Sharmaji Namkeen - September 4
Rishi Kapoor's last movie Sharmaji Namkeen will release on the actor's birth anniversary. The shooting of the film was halted following his demise. However, Paresh Rawal was roped in to shoot the remaining portions of Rishi Kapoor. The film also features Juhi Chawla. While Hitesh Bhatia makes his directorial debut, Excel Entertainment in association with Honey Trehan and Abhishek Choubey under their banner MacGuffin Pictures are producing Sharmaji Namkeen. Dhaakad - October 1
Kangana Ranaut has booked Gandhi Jayanti to arrive as Agent Agni in Dhaakad, which she calls 'India's first female-led action thriller'. Maidaan - October 15
The much-awaited sports drama stars Ajay Devgn in the role of Syed Abdul Rahim, who served as a coach and manager of the Indian football team from 1950 until his death in 1963. Directed by Amit Sharma, Maidaan also features Priyamani, Gajraj Rao and Rudranil Ghosh. Jersey - November 5
Shahid Kapoor's Diwali offering follows the story of Arjun, a talented but failed cricketer, who decides to return to the sport in his late 30s. Also starring Mrunal Thakur and Pankaj Kapur, Jersey is the Hindi remake of the 2019 hit Telugu film of the same name. Laal Singh Chaddha - Christmas (date to be announced)
