Minor blast near Israeli Embassy in New Delhi; area cordoned off
New Delhi, Jan 29: A low intensity blast near Israeli Embassy, Bungalow no 6 at APJ Abdul Kalam Road in New Delhi on Friday. Window screens of few cars were damaged in the explosion. Police have cardoned off APJ Abdul Kalam Road.
The blast took place on the pavement outside the embassy building and that the windscreens of four or five cars parked nearby were damaged, the police said. The nature of the explosion is yet to be ascertained.
''Blast happened near the Israeli Embassy in New Delhi and four-five vehicles were damaged in it'', the Delhi Police has confirmed.
