The Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia, Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud has recently declared about a strategy for Riyadh, the capital city, to be world’s one of the largest cities in regard to economies, Al Arabiya TV reported.
As a part of the aforesaid strategy, Saudi Arabia is set to increase the number of Riyadh resident from 7.5 million to 15-20 million by 2030, the crown prince explained this on the second day of the Future Investment Initiative Summit, arranged on Thursday, Xinhua news agency reported.
When it comes to non-oil economy, Riyadh represents 50 per cent of the country’s share. The cost of the job creation in Riyadh is 30 per cent less than other Saudi cities as infrastructure and real estate development cost is 29 per cent less, he said.
Also, the strategy is set to develop Riyadh in terms of quality of life, tourism, education by various initiatives covering different sectors, he added.
