ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel bags Rs 5,000-crore order for hot rolled coils from POSCO Maharashtra Steel

ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel India has signed a memorandum of understanding with Posco Maharashtra Steel to supply hot rolled coils worth Rs 5,000 crore this year.

This is the sixth supply agreement signed between the companies since 2015.

As part of the agreement, AM/NS India and Posco Maharashtra Steel, the Indian subsidiary of South Korean steel major Posco, will jointly work to enhance the quality of steel and develop new value-added grades to provide customers better products and solutions.

Dilip Oommen, Chief Executive Officer, AM/NS India, said the company will continue to support Posco Maharashtra Steel in its endeavour as AM/NS India has been focusing on value addition and development of value-added grades for customers.
