VIJAYAPURA: Sindagi MLA and senior JD(S) leader
M C Managuli passed away on late Wednesday night due to Covid-19 complications.
The 85-year-old former minister was being treated at Apollo hospital in Bengaluru.
He was airlifted from Kalaburagi domestic airport to Bengaluru after he complained of severe breathing problems on January 9.
Although the doctors tried hard to save Managuli, his health condition deteriorated and he failed to respond to the treatment, sources said.
The body has been handed over to the relatives. No information has been given on the place and timing of last rites.
Managuli was a two-time MLA from Sindagi.
