Synopsis

Both Houses will hold sittings on all working days alternately, in the first and second half of the day, during the session, which will also have Question Hour and Zero Hour and will have 33 working days. From February 2, the Rajya Sabha will meet from 9am to 2 pm, while the Lok Sabha will hold sittings from 3 pm to 9 pm.

Only around 60 of the 245 Rajya Sabha members have undergone the RT-PCR test by Thursday afternoon. Several MPs from West Bengal, Assam, Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Puducherry, where assembly elections are due in April-May, are likely to skip proceedings.
