Crane rental company Viktor Baumann and aerial lift/telehandler rental company Riwal Deutschland have formed strategic cooperation agreement, in which Hamburg based Riwal will offer its customers Viktor Baumann cranes and heavy services, while the Bornheim, Bonn based crane company will offer its customer base aerial lifts and telehandlers from the Riwal fleet.

Jürgen Möller, head of Riwal's Cologne/Bonn branch which is located close to Viktor Baumann's Bornheim facility said: "With the cooperation we underline our claim to offer customers the best service they can get in our industry. By not only renting work platforms and telescopic forklifts through us in the future, but also being able to obtain Viktor Baumann's high quality heavy lift services, we are expanding our portfolio specifically in the interests of our customers."

Riwal Germany employs around 140 people in seven branches across Germany with a fleet of around 2,400 machines.
Viktor Baumann dates back to 1888 when it was established as haulage company. It built its first crane in 1950 mounting it on a US army surplus truck chassis, and bought its first manufactured crane, a 20 tonne P&H truck crane in 1957, today it runs an extensive transport fleet, and operates a mobile crane fleet that ranges from 30 to 500 tonnes.
