Indian Railways launches new facility, now goods will arrive directly at the train berth from home

Indian Railways is moving strongly on the path of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Digital India. Railways have introduced a new facility for passengers, through which people will get rid of carrying their luggage to the railway station.

Explain that the railway has brought such a service for its passengers, under which your luggage will be transported directly from home to the berth of the train. This service of Indian Railways has been given the End to End Luggage Service.

It has started in Ahmedabad. A tweet from Western Railway's official Twitter handle. It reads, 'Western Railway launches end to end luggage/parcel service at Ahmedabad railway station by Bookbags.com.'

It is expected that this service will be available soon at other railway stations. The arrival of this service will help those people who carry more luggage during the journey. Its fee will depend on the size and weight of the goods.

IRCTC will resume e-catering service from next month

The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) will resume its e-catering services from next month, which is a big relief for the passengers. E-catering services were suspended on March 22, 2020, due to the lockdown imposed to deal with the Kovid-19 epidemic.

IRCTC is going to re-introduce e-catering services for passengers traveling on special trains handling Indian Railways catering, tourism, and online ticketing activities.

In this regard, a statement issued by IRCTC said that IRCTC is ready to resume e-catering services in a phased manner from February, after getting permission from the Ministry of Railways. Initially, services will be started at about 30 railway stations for about 250 trains.
