Ishqbaaaz actor and dad-to-be Nakuul Mehta is all excited for his new journey in life. Jankee Mehta and he are going to be parents soon. The couple celebrate their eighth wedding anniversary today. Nakuul Mehta took to Instagram to share a beautiful picture from their wedding in 2012. It is a known fact that he married quite early in life. Nakuul Mehta knew Jankee Parekh from his college days and was instantly smitten by her. They were friends for a long time before he finally decided to confess his feelings. In the throwback pic shared by him, it is written, "You, are my home! Anniversary love & beyond." Talking about how he asked for her hand in marriage, Nakuul Mehta told Humans Of Bombay, "Yes’! We dated for 9 years after–I’d have married her at 18 but it was a tough one! She comes from a traditional Gujarati family. They were hesitant–I wasn’t Gujarati or a businessman & I was an actor! But she was unrelenting! Finally, I spoke to her parents until they were convinced. Then at 2 am, I proposed to her on Marine Drive with a 5 page poem I’d written–thankfully she said ‘yes’ before the cops came after us!"
