Call of Duty Mobile receives a fresh start with its Season 1 update, brings new weapon, operators, maps and more
Activision has decided to reboot it’s Call of Duty Mobile Season with the latest update. The developer instead of rolling out Season 14, has rolled out Season 1 for the game. The update was announced by the company via its official Twitter handle.
As per the tweet, the update started rolling out to the game starting January 27 IST at 5:30am and is available to download via Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
The latest season is dubbed as New Order and it brings several new features such as new weapons, battle pass, battle royale mode, operators and more.
COD Mobile: New Battle Pass
New Order comes with a brand-new Battle Pass. It features 50 tiers of free and premium content.
With the new battle pass, players will get a change to grab new characters, weapons, blueprints, charms and more.
The free battle pass includes new Operator Skill -- Gravity Vortex Gun at Tier 14, tacticals weapons -- Light Show at Tier 28 and Concussion Grenade – Light Show at Tier 34. Apart from this there will be more free credits till Tier 50.
The premium battle pass gives players a chance to earn all of the contents available in New Order. This includes Cyberpunk style character skin such as FTL – Power Line, Spectre – Chrome, Prophet – Geist and David Mason – Enforcer. The pass also includes weapons blueprints.
COD Mobile: New weapon
The new weapon is SKS for the season. It’s a base weapon via seasonal challenge battle royale bluff and it will be available in mid-February.
COD Mobile: Reclaim map
The map is based on a holiday shopping complex in Reclaim. Activision claims that this is an original map to arrive in the game. The map will be available in Multiplayer rotation.
COD Mobile: New multiplayer modes
New Order has added two new multiplayer modes -- 3v3 Gunfight and 20-Player Attack of the Undead -- to the game.
The two new modes bring a new twist to the entire game.
COD Mobile: New battle royale mode
With the update players will also get a new Blitz battle royale game mode. This is a fast paced 40 players battle royale mode. Each match in this mode lasts for around 10 minutes until the final safe zone forms.
