PM working with motto of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas: Haryana Guv

Chandigarh, Jan 28 (UNI) Haryana Governor Satyadeo Narain Arya on Thursday said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi was working with the motto of 'Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas and Sabka Vishwas,' encouraging and strengthening the idea of social harmony.
The Governor was addressing a seminar organised on social harmony through video-conferencing, after inaugurating the first floor of the Social Harmony Building and laying the foundation stone of Shri Guru Ravidas Dham, Kurukshetra from Raj Bhavan.
He said that whenever this country has faced discrimination based on caste and religion, great personalities have come into this world to remove these evils and helped bring the society back on the right path. Among such great men, the name of Sant Shiromani Guru Ravidas ji is taken with great respect, added Mr Arya.
Guru Ravidas ji wanted the society to be governed in such a manner that no one goes to sleep hungry and all humans be treated equally. Shri Guru Ravidas Ji Maharaj is well known in the world today due to his philosophy and teachings, noted the Governor.
He said that along with Shri Guru Ravidas Ji, the philosophy of Shri Guru Nanak Ji, Lord Buddha, Kabirdas Ji and Baba Saheb Dr Bhim Rao Ambedkar was bringing a new wave of cultural change in the society.
If a person wants to rise high, he can become great, elevated only through struggle, hard work, honesty, social service and devotion, he added.
Mr Arya said the history of Ravidassia society was replete with the actions of struggle and bravery.
The preachings of Guru Ravidas Ji were relevant even today. Sant Shiromani Guru Ravidas Vishwa Mahapeeth was doing the great work of spreading the message of Shri Guru Ravidas Ji to the people. The work of Vishwa Mahapeeth was showing a new way to the poor society, he added.
