IPL 2021 Player auctions – Check how many slots CSK, MI, RCB, KKR, KXIP, DC, SRH, RR will try to fill at the IPL auctions : The eight Indian Premier League (IPL) franchises are gearing up for the IPL 2021 auctions scheduled on February 18 at Grand Chola Hotel, Chennai. There are some big names like Steve Smith and Glenn Maxwell who will be up for grabs from the auction pool. A total of 55 players have been confirmed for the auctions so far after the teams announced the released players list. A total purse of Rs 196.6 crore will be available for the franchises to spend. Here is the no. of slots available, and purse remaining for each franchise.
IPL 2021 auction: Kings XI Punjab remaining purse and slots available
KXIP have the highest purse amount with Rs 53.2 crore in their kitty. Furthermore, they currently have nine available slots.
IPL 2021 auction: Chennai Super Kings remaining purse and slot available
With the release of Shane Watson, Kedar Jadhav, Piyush Chawla, Monu Singh and Murali Vijay, CSK have seven slots available. The release of the big names have also helped them bring their purse to Rs 22.9 crore. However, they just have one oversea slot available which can be a concern for them.
IPL 2021 auction: Mumbai Indians remaining purse and slot available
MI have a total of 18 players in their squad and can add seven more. They have a purse of Rs 69.65 crore left and can add four overseas players.

IPL 2021 auction: Sunrisers Hyderabad remaining purse and slot available
SRH had decided to release the least number of players. The 2016 IPL champions released just slot for three players and have a remaining purse of Rs 10.75 crore.
IPL 2021 auction: Kolkata Knight Riders remaining purse and slot available
KKR although released quite some players it has a very low purse of Rs 10.75 crore. The available slots for the two-time champions is eight.
IPL 2021 auction: Rajasthan Royals remaining purse and slot available
The inaugural IPL champions RR surprised everyone after they announced about releasing Steve Smith. The Australian alone bagged them Rs 12.5 crore. They now have Rs 34.85 crore in their purse with available slot of eight.
IPL 2021 auction: Delhi Capitals remaining purse and slot available
The 2020 IPL finalists are a stable side and hence retained most of its key players for the upcoming season. It has an available purse of Rs 12.90 crore with six slots remaining.

It was shocking when RCB released the highest number of players, despite being a stable side. They now have Rs 35.9 crore left with 13 slots available.
