India has become the third-largest start-up ecosystem in the world and home to 21 Unicorns (startups with an aggregate value of more than $ 70 billion). A Unicorn is a private startup company whose value is more than $1 billion. With the entrepreneurial activity picking up in the country, despite the slowdown induced during the pandemic, the number of startups joining the Unicorn club is set to rise further in the coming year.

At the Indian National Startup Awards 2020, co-hosted by the Embassy of India, Department of Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade, and the US-India Strategic Partnership Forum, it became clear that entrepreneurs are the new drivers of economic growth in India. The hope also comes from young innovators like Gulrez Alam Director & CEO and Md Badshah Ansari CTO of Teamology Softech And Media Services Pvt. Ltd. This start-up was launched in August 2020, and today, it is a renowned name for services related to Digital Marketing, Website Development, and affordable Digital PR Services. According to Gulrez Alam, his mission is to make the service affordable for MSEs as well as social media influencers

The current pandemic, which has already put a spoke in the wheels of the economic development of the world, couldn’t stop the rise of the Indian startups in its tracks. In fact, a recent report revealed that until mid-December 2020, Indian startups had raised $9.3 billion in funding. Though this figure is slightly lesser than that of 2019, it is still encouraging because of the fact that this development comes despite the Coronavirus crisis.Apart from factors like the rising of the Indian IT companies, creation of a humongous talent pool, the expendable income of the Indian middle class, and ease of funding, what has made India a significant entity in the world of startup ecosystems, is the yearning desire of the Indian youth, who doesn’t want to settle for the second-best in life.

Youth like Gulrez Alam and Md Badhshah Ansari are creating startup havens outside the holy trinity of Indian startup centers – Bengaluru, Mumbai, Kolkata, and Delhi-NCR. Young men and women like him are writing their personal stories of economic progress in Tier-II cities as well. Whether it is the Indian programmers, engineers, or entrepreneurs, skills and the drive to succeed have now led to the reverse brain-drain into India. Even foreign-based companies are keen to invest in Indian brains like that of Gulrez and the future does look bright for Indian startups.

Both Gulrez Alam and Md Badshah Ansari have 6 years of experience in Digital Marketing and both completed various national and international projects. They are also the founder of sarkarinaukriind.com a leading education portal in India and provide authentic information about competitive exams and Sarkari Naukri and helping billions of students in India.
