Vadodara: Five persons have died in a freak road accident involving two motorcycles near Pavagadh. While three persons had died by Tuesday night, two died during treatment on Wednesday.
According to sources, the accident took place near the Chhaj Diwali village near Pavagadh in Panchmahal district. The motorcycles were involved in a head on collision and Vasant Baria from Talavdi village in Halol taluka in Panchmahal district as well as Arvind Rathwa from Chuli village in Pavijetpur taluka of Chhotaudepur district were killed in the accident on the spot on Tuesday evening.
Vasant’s cousin Narvat Baria died later on Tuesday while being taken for treatment. Arvind’s wife Sunita Rathwa and daughter Hemaxi were hospitalised for treatment. Sunita and Hemaxi died on Wednesday.
