Four new Covid cases, one dead in Manipur

Imphal, Jan 27 (UNI) : Four persons (4 Male) from general population were confirmed as new COVID-I9 positive cases in the past 24 hours.
The positive persons were tested at RIMS (1) and Shija Hospital (3).
The positive cases from general population were from Imphal West (2),
Imphal East (1) and Thoubal (1).
In the last 24 hours, one person aged 75 yrs (maie, Bishnupur) expired
at RIMS. The cumulative number of deaths was 370.
The total number of discharged persons was 13. They were from Home
Isolation (8), RIMS (3) and DH Chandel (2).
The cumulative number of positive cases was 29,007 (General Population
— 25,584 and Central Security Personnel — 3,423). The cumulative
number of recovered cases was 28.476 (General Population — 25,066 and
Central Security Personnel — 3,410). The number of active cases was
161 (General Population — 152 and Central Security Personnel — 9). The
recovery rate was 98.16 %.
