Stress leads to emotional eating, where people use food to deal with stressful situations. Once in a while, everyone indulges in emotional eating. The problem begins when it becomes a regular thing and starts interfering with our daily lives. In this video Shreya, a Chandigarh based dietitian shared how to control your stress eating for better health. She explained that stress can be triggered due to multiple reasons and first it is paramount to identify your trigger. Both negative and positive events can cause stress. Sometimes it is even caused due to nutrient deficiencies and low haemoglobin count. Staying hydrated, good sleeping habits and engaging in rejuvenating activities are some of the ways to manage this issue.
