Fire destroys research lab of pharma company in Thane

Thane, Jan 27 (UNI) A major fire broke out in the research centre of a pharma company at industrial area in Dombivli town of the district on Wednesday, gutting it completely.
The fire broke out at the research lab of the Galaxy Pharmaceuticals situated in Dombivli MIDC area in the evening at around 1755 hours, the authorities said.
Six fire engines and five water tankers rushed to the scene and the fire-fighting operations are currently underway.
However, no one was injured in the fire.

The cause of fire has yet to be ascertained, the officers added.
