Farmers’ protest | Culture Minister visits Red Fort, orders report

Union Culture Minister Prahlad Singh Patel on Wednesday visited the Red Fort to assess the damage to the site, a day after protesting farmers entered the monument, and asked officials to prepare a report on the incident immediately. Officials of the Ministry and the ASI accompanied him.

In a tweet, Mr. Patel said he had directed the officials to file police complaints in the matter.

Mr. Patel had on Tuesday condemned the actions of the protesters.
