The Government of Rajasthan is committed to cater to the gravel needs of the people of the state for the construction works and the Manufactured Send (M-Send) Policy -2020 brought in this direction will prove to be a game-changer. Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot said this while addressing the inaugural program of M-SEND Policy-2020 at CM residence today.

Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot said during this period that this much-awaited policy would give a boost to the use and production of M-sand in Rajasthan and reduce our dependence on gravel flowing from rivers. He said that this will also solve the problem of waste coming out of the mines in Rajasthan's mining areas, as well as a large number of M-Send units, which will also create employment opportunities at the local level.

Ashok Gehlot said that after the environmental-related process and judicial orders, the availability of gravel is not available as per the requirement of construction works in the state. As such, in the Budget 2019-20, we promised to bring an M-Send policy with the objective of promoting manufactured sand as a long-term alternative to gravel. Today I am very happy that we are going to provide a proper alternative to natural gravel in the form of M-sand to the people of the state through this policy.
