Katie Holmes walks side by side with boyfriend Emilio Vitolo‘s as they walk and talk around New York City on Monday afternoon (January 25).

The cute couple were spotted walking around the neighborhood in a pair of eye catching jackets to battle the bitter cold weather.

While Katie chose as long yellow checkered trench, Emilio wore a bold red plaid jacket, and paired it with a newsboy cap and red pants as they enjoyed their stroll around the Big Apple.

Just a few days before, Katie was spotted picking up some new items from Santa Maria Novella, is a luxury apothecary where you can purchase high end cosmetics located in Lower Manhattan.

Over the weekend, Katie was seen with a permanent smile on her face as she and Emilio ran some errands together.
