The only people from the industry at the do were Karan Johar, Manish Malhotra and Kunal Kohli. They had a small ceremony keeping in mind the restrictions for the pandemic. The security was very tight and very few pics have been leaked out to the media. The couple had a haldi, mehendi and sangeet function followed by the wedding. Natasha Dalal had designed her own wedding outfit. Her makeup was done by Namrata Soni. In fact, Soni described her as the most chilled out bride ever. Manish also congratulated the couple. He wrote on Instagram, "Dearest Natasha and Varun many congratulations. Wish you’ll happiness and abundance of laughter together. My dear Varun from attending Lalli and Davidji’s wedding, to seeing you growing up and then styling you in your first film , to seeing you become such an accomplished actor and now dressing you as a groom and being there at your lovely and intimate wedding was a warm and emotional experience... the way you’ll looked at each other at the varmala was a very beautiful and heart felt moment. The couple will apparently head to Turkey for a week long honeymoon. Varun Dhawan has to start work on Amar Kaushik's monster comedy Bhediya in Arunachal Pradesh.
