Panaji: The state Tourism Department has floated a tender inviting Event Management Agencies with the department for Management and Organisation of Carnival Festival 2021.
As per the tender document, the department intends to organise the annual four-day Carnival float parade in Goa from February 13 to February 16, 2020.
The department has stated that the festival will be organised in association with the local Municipal bodies namely Corporation of City of Panaji and Municipal Councils of Margao, Mapusa and Mormugao.
The estimated cost for the festival is Rs 1, 44, 98,000 excluding GST.
The selected agency will have to organise and execute a grand flag off arrangements befitting an international carnival at Panaji or any other suitable venue as decided by the Tourism department.
The agency will have to execute décor in Panaji city to build up the ambiance of the venues to international standards and also street and traffic circles décor in and around the city.
The selected agency will also be asked to supply approximately 1,000 festival uniforms to the volunteers and other officials.
