NEW YORK: India on Tuesday welcomed the announcement of legislative, presidential and nationwide council elections in Palestine that can be held later this yr and additionally urged all events to take essential steps to make sure free and fair elections.

Speaking on the graduation of talks between Israel and Lebanon, Tirumurti stated that India seems ahead to the formation of the federal government in Lebanon as it’s going to “offer political stability and also tackle the grave socio-economic challenges being faced by the people of Lebanon”.
