ETSI holds first meeting of IPv6 innovation group

The ETSI has launched the Industry Specification Group IPv6 Enhanced innovation (IPE). The kick-off meeting on 18-19 January saw the participation of Cisco, Etisalat, HPE, Huawei, OTE, Post Luxembourg, Telefonica and Turkcell, among others. Latif Ladid, research fellow at the University of Luxembourg and founder and president of the World IPv6 Forum was appointed as chairman. Patrick Wetterwald from Cisco, Chongfeng Xie from China Telecom and Will Liu from Huawei were appointed as vice-chairs.
