The bus and car of the Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation collided face-to-face in Belagavi, Karnataka on Sunday. In this accident, four people, including a woman police sub-inspector, died on the spot. Officials gave this information.
They told that the bus was going from Goa towards Ilkal. The accident occurred on Sunday afternoon at the Chachadi-Gantamar intersection.
Police said the deceased were identified as Sub Inspector Laxmi Vasudev Pawar, her son Prasad, daughter-in-law Ankita and domestic aide Deepa Anil, posted at Belagavi Women's Police Station. The police have filed a case in Murgod police station in connection with the accident.
