Washington/New Delhi Jan 25 (UNI) More than four lakh people have been infected during the past 24 hours worldwide by the global epidemic Coronavirus pushing the tally to over 9.91 crore.

At the same time, more than 21.28 lakh people have died from it.

According to the data released by the Center for Science and Engineering (CSSE) of America's John Hopkins University, in 192 countries of the world, the number of infected people has increased by 9.91 crore and more than 21.28 lakh have lost their life.

United States is the most affected by corona, the number of infected has reached about 25.5 million, while more than 4.19 lakh patients have died.

In India, the number of corona infections has exceeded 16 million 67 thousand. The number of those who have beaten this epidemic has exceeded one crore three lakh 30 thousand, while the death toll has reached 1,53,470.

In Brazil, the number of people infected with Coronavirus has exceeded 88.44 lakhs and more than 2.17 lakh patients have died due to this epidemic. The number of corona-infected people in Russia has exceeded 36.79 lakhs while 68,297 people have died. More than 36.57 lakh people have been infected in the UK and 98,129 people have died.

In France, more than 31.12 lakh people have been affected by the virus and 73,190 patients have died. So far, more than 24.99 lakh people have been infected and 55,441 people have died due to this epidemic in Spain. In Italy, more than 24.66 lakh people have been infected with the virus so far and 85,461 people have died. So far, more than 24.29 lakh people have been affected by Covid-19 in Turkey and 25,073 people have lost their life.

In Germany, the number of people affected by the virus has crossed 21.47 lakh and 51,168 people have died. In Colombia, more than 20.15 lakh people have been affected by this deadly virus and 51,374 people have lost their lives. In Argentina, more than 18.67 lakh people have been affected by Covid-19 and 46,827 people have died. More than 17.52 lakh people have been infected with Corona in Mexico and 1,49,614 people have died.

There have been more than 14.75 lakh cases of infection in Poland and 35,363 people have died. Corona-infected cases in South Africa have crossed 14.12 lakh and 40,874 people have died.

So far, more than 13.72 lakh people have been infected by the epidemic in Iran and 57,383 people have died. In Ukraine more than 12.31 lakh people have been affected by this virus while 22,926 people have died. In Peru, about 10.82 lakh people have been infected with the virus so far and 39,608 people have died.

More than 9.89 lakh people have been affected by the corona in Indonesia and the death toll has reached 27,835. In the Netherlands, more than 9.62 lakh people have been affected by Corona and 13,646 people have died. In the Czech Republic, more than 9.37 lakh people have been affected by Corona and 15,369 people have died.

More than 7.52 lakh people have been infected in Canada so far, while 18,767 people have died. More than 7.11 lakh people have been infected with Corona in Romania, while 17,776 people have died.

Over 6.99 lakh people have been affected by the dreaded virus in Chile and 17,993 people have lost their lives. In Belgium, the number of infected people has crossed 6.91 lakhs, while 20,779 people have died.

Portugal has overtaken Iraq in terms of infected and more than 6.36 lakh people have been affected by this epidemic and 10,469 people have lost their lives. The number of infected in Iraq has crossed 6.13 lakhs and the death toll has reached 12,993. The number of infected in Israel has reached about 5.97 lakhs while the number of dead has reached 4419.

In Sweden, more than 5.47 lakh people have been infected by the epidemic and 11,005 people have died. More than 5.32 lakh people have been infected with Corona in Pakistan and 11,318 people have died. More than 5.31 lakh people have been affected in Corona in Bangladesh while 8023 people have died.

More than 5.13 lakh people have been affected by it in the Philippines and 10,242 people have died. More than 5.09 lakh people have been affected by the epidemic in Switzerland and 9065 people have died. More than 4.66 lakh people have been affected by the epidemic in Morocco and 8150 people have lost their lives. More than 4.04 lakh people have been infected by Corona in Austria while 7418 people have died. In Saudi Arabia, 3.66 lakh people have been infected by corona while 6352 people have died.

The Corona virus has killed 14,623 people in Ecuador, 9985 in Bolivia, 8959 in Egypt, 5465 in Guatemala and 4804 in China.
