Zee Group thad released Sai Dharam Tej's movie, Solo Brathuke So Better in theaters in December. Solo Brathuke So Better has been a safe project for Zee Group despite the 50% occupancy rule. Buoyed by the response, Zee Group also bagged the complete rights of Sai Dharam Tej's Republic (Working Title) directed by deva Katta. The movie will release in theaters first and on Zee5 after a short gap like how Solo Brathuke So Better did.

Already, in january, ZEE5 has released two telugu web series and a movie. The second season of Virgin bhaskar has started streaming in the new year. Suraj Pe Mangal Bhari has been premiering since january 13. The first season of Nenu C/o Nuvvu started streaming from january 14. Romeo Juliet started streaming from january 15. The first season of Sivangi has streamed since january 19.
