German Cartel Office, BSI sign partnership to reinforce consumer digital protection

The German Federal Office for Information Security (BSI) has signed a declaration of intent with the Federal Cartel Office (Bundeskartellamt) to reinforce their partnership in the field of digital consumer protection, using their respective competencies and expertise. Under the new agreement, the authorities will continue to exchange information and cooperate on consumer protection-related tasks. The authorities want to make sure that the benefits of digitisation actually reach consumers.
