IIFL Securities, a broking and advisory firm has appointed Sandeep Bhardwaj as CEO- retail broking. In this role he will report to R Venkataraman, chairman and managing director, IIFL Securities and co-promoter of diversified financial services group, IIFL and will be based out of Mumbai.
Bhardwaj was previously working with Angel Broking as the Chief Sales Officer where he spent over a decade managing sales, revenue, and wealth management.
According to statement shared by the company, he also has another decade of experience with Religare Finvest, Centurion Bank of Punjab, HDFC Bank and ICICI Group. Bhardwaj has done executive programs at INSEAD and Indian School of Business in the areas of leadership, marketing, analytics, and innovation.
“Sandeep, with his vast and varied experience in lending across multiple asset classes will drive our retail broking business to the next level of growth,” said R. Venkataraman, MD, IIFL Securities Ltd.
IIFL Securities has over a million retail customers, over 500 institutional client.
