Helping hand extended to four clubs

Kakching, January 24 2021: Retired Executive Engineer and social worker Yengkhom Nilachandra has extended monetary assistance towards construction of Khunjampat Ground today.

He provided the aid while visiting the ground at Kakching Wairi.

It may be noted that four clubs, Advance Volunteer Organisation, Sena Athletic Organisation, Kakching Popular Sporting Club and Kakching Town Club are overseeing the construction work of the ground.

Extending the aid to the clubs' representatives, Y Nilachandra said he is providing the assistance to encourage young athletes and players and promote health.

The COVID-19 pandemic has affected all and at this juncture, people should focus on their health and maintain hygiene, he said, advising youths to refrain from abusing drugs to lead a healthy life.

He also assured the clubs all possible assistance in the future.
