Chennai City Police Chief, 2 others chosen for Prez medal, 17 others to get police medal

Chennai, Jan 25 (UNI) Chennai City Police Commissioner Mahesh
Kumar Aggarwal and two other senior officers were chosen by
the Centre for the President's Police Medal for distinguished
service, while 17 others were chosen for Police medal for
meritorious service on the occasion of Republic Day.
A release from the office of the Director General of Police
here said the other two officers to receive the President's
medal were Mr S.Davidson Devasirvatham, Additional Director
General of Police/ Director, Tamil Nadu Police Academy,
Chennai and Mr P Manikandakumar, Inspector of Police, Tamil
Nadu Special Police-IV Battalion, Kovaipudur.
The release said 17 officers have been chosen for the Police
Medal for Meritorious Service.
