K'taka: Four of family die in bus-car collision

Belagavi, Jan 24 (UNI) Four members of a family, including two women, died on the spot when their car collided with a North West Karnataka Road Transport Corporation (NWKRTC) bus near Chachadi cross in Murgod police station limits on Sunday.

Superintendent of Police Laxman Nimbargi said that the victims were identified as Laxmi, Prasad, Ankita and Deepa. All are residents of Sahyadrinagar in the City.

The bus was bound for Illkal, while the car was coming to the city from Yaragatti.

Murgod Police have registered a case and are investigating.

Bengaluru, Jan 24 (UNI) Karnataka Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa on Sunday said that the officials involved in leaking KPSC examination question paper will be dismissed from service, even as eight more people were arrested in connection with the leakage, taking the total number of arrests to 14.
