Security meet organised at CCpur

CCpur, January 23 2021: In order to maintain security, peace and stability in the run up to the Republic Day, troops of Assam Rifles organised an interactive security meeting at Khengjang in Churachandpur district, today.

30 village Chiefs, Youth Club secretaries, Police representatives and villagers attended the meeting, said a statement of IGAR (S) .

The security meet was aimed to assess the prevailing security situation for the forthcoming Republic Day, it added.

Plans and recommendations for civic action programmes were also discussed.
