Republic Day 2021: Delhi Metro services to be partially curtailed

Services on HUDA City Centre-Samaypur Badli metro line will be partially regulated on Jan 26.
NEW DELHI: Delhi Metro services will be partially curtailed on January 26, owing to security arrangements for the Republic Day celebrations.
While parking lots at all metro stations will be closed from 6am on January 25 to 2pm on January 26, a number of metro stations will also have their entry and exits shut between 8.45am and 12pm on January 26, the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) said.
Services on HUDA City Centre-Samaypur Badli metro line will be partially regulated on Jan 26. Entry & exits at Central Secretariat & Udyog Bhawan metro stations will remain closed till 12 noon on Republic Day, said the DMRC.
Central Secretariat station will only be used for interchange of passengers b/w Line 2 & Line 6. The entry and exits at Patel Chowk & Lok Kalyan Marg Metro stations will remain closed from 8.45am to 12 noon on January 26.
Delhi Traffic Police issues advisory for Republic Day
The Delhi Traffic Police on Sunday issued an advisory on the arrangements and restrictions in place for the smooth conduct of Republic Day parade.

People are requested to plan their journey in advance accordingly and avoid the routes of parade and Tableaux from 4am to 12.30pm.
