Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Friday, the self-sufficient India mission has become a part of everyday life. From cricket to the fight against Corona, this spirit is embedded in our everyday lives.

The Prime Minister assured that the Corona vaccine has been made only after a completely scientific process. It is not causing any major side effects. He said India is completely self-sufficient in the vaccine.

Addressing the 18th convocation of Assam's Tezpur University with video conferencing, the PM said, "Self-reliant India campaign has become an important part of our vocabulary in the era of Corona. Referring to India's unprecedented victory in Australia, the PM said, "We should not be afraid to take risks and overcome the fear of failure."

He said a big example of a change in attitude is in front of our Indian team who continued their fight even after losing the first match. Even after several players were injured, he struggled for victory and kept looking for new solutions. Some players had less experience, but the courage was equally strong. He made history as soon as he got a chance.

He further said that a better team had confidence in his talent and passion. This was the strength on which he defeated an experienced team. Modi also referred to the contribution of the celebrities of Assam including late musician Bhupen Hazarika and the people of Assam in the freedom struggle. Elections are to be held in Assam in April-May.

The PM said India is convincing the world to have a protective shield with its own Corona vaccine. Today's India is not afraid of experiments to solve the problem and also does not back down from working on a large scale.

An example of this is giving houses to every poor family, providing water to every household, the biggest health protection scheme and now the biggest vaccination campaign is also being started in India.

PM Modi interacted with six people at three centers in his constituency Varanasi.
