A source had earlier told PTI that Varun and Natasha will get married as per Hindu rituals in the presence of family and close friends. The insider added that the wedding was originally planned for May 2020 but due to COVID-19 pandemic, it was pushed to 2021.
Varun and Natasha first crossed paths while they were in school but started dating much later. The couple avoided talking about the relationship in media during the early years of Varun’s career. They, however, didn’t shy away from getting clicked together.
Recently, on Kareena Kapoor Khan’s show What Women Want, Varun Dhawan shared Natasha Dalal rejected him three-four times before finally agreeing to a relationship.
Recalling the moment when he fell in love with Natasha, Varun said, “I actually met Natasha in the 6th standard. We were friends till 11-12th. We were very close friends. I remember seeing her for the first time. We went to Maneckji Cooper. It was on the basketball court that I saw her and I fell in love with her that day. That was it! She rejected me 3-4 times, but I didn’t give up hope.”
Opening up about his marriage plans, Varun Dhawan told Kareena Kapoor, “I felt like getting married after I saw my brother and bhabhi and after my niece came. So when I saw my niece, I was like this is good.”
A close source confirmed to indainexpress.com that Varun Dhawan and Natasha Dalal’s wedding is happening in the afternoon today.
As per an update from Bombay Times, "Keeping in mind the current pandemic situation, COVID tests are done at the entrance of the venue and those failing to test negative are sent back home. Also, stickers are being stuck on the mobile phones of the staff members owing to the no photo policy at the venue."
Varun Dhawan and Natasha Dalal are set to marry today. The pandit and Varun's close friend Zoa Morani were seen arriving at the venue.

The latest report by Pinkvilla states, "The latest whisper from Alibaug is that the lovely couple will take their wedding vows at 12.30 PM. A source at the venue exclusively revealed to Pinkvilla that the couple will become husband and wife between 12.15 PM to 12.55 PM in Alibaug."
A report in Weddingsutra.com claimed that Varun and Natasha will tie the knot at Shah Rukh Khan’s Alibaug bungalow which has been designed by Gauri herself. Reports suggest that as soon as SRK came to know about Varun’s marriage at an Alibaug resort, he personally invited the Dhawan family at his palatial villa, with their guests, as it was in vicinity.
As per the Pinkvilla report, Anil Dhawan shared that Varun Dhawan and Natasha Dalal’s wedding was planned for an earlier date but it had to be cancelled because of the pandemic.
"We are just doing the rituals among our families and not doing any bing bang, " shared Anil Dhawan with Pinkvilla. The report also read, "Considering the ongoing pandemic situation the Dhawans have kept a limited guest list of 50 people."
Before leaving for nephew Varun Dhawan's wedding at Alibaug, Varun's uncle-actor Anil Dhawan shared with Pinkvilla, "We are very excited. This is the last marriage in our family from Varun’s generation. Rohit (Dhawan, Varun’s elder brother) got married, my children got married and my elder brother's kids are also married. Toh yeh complete circle ho jayega (this will be a complete circle)."
A source informed Bollywood Hungama, "Boney’s son Arjun Kapoor is invited. Boney is not. No one from Anil Kapoor’s family is invited either. On the other hand dress designer Manish Malhotra who is related to Varun’s mother is invited, and so are Karan Johar and Shashank Khaitan. No member from the Bachchan family is invited for the wedding."

As per a report by Filmfare, Varun and Natasha will be heading off for their honeymoon soon after the wedding. The report read, "Initially, there was news that they will not be taking a vacation until Varun has finished shooting for his upcoming films, but the update is that they will be jetting off to Turkey soon."
Varun Dhawan and Natasha Dalal have largely remained private about their relationship, with Varun Dhawan even commenting once that Natasha liked to stay away from the limelight. In fact, Natasha has till date kept her Instagram account private and never spoken about her life, career or Varun Dhawan on any public platform.

As per a report on PTI, Varun Dhawan's sangeet ceremony, which took place today in Alibaug, has been organised and hosted by Karan Johar, who is one of the guest at the wedding. Varun's wedding is scheduled to take place on Sunday, January 24.

As per a report on PTI, Varun Dhawan's friends Alia Bhatt, Janhvi Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor will perform on sangeet ceremony of the Coolie No 1 actor, which was scheduled to take place on Saturday.
