Supreme Industries reported 34.26% growth yoy in Dec-20 quarter consolidated revenues at Rs1,843.80cr. If you look at the break-up of the revenues, there has been solid growth across two of the largest product lines of the company viz. Plastic Piping Products and Industrial Products. Packaging products have been relatively tepid in the quarter.
For the Dec-20 quarter, the consolidated operating profits were up 104.64% at Rs346.64cr. This can be largely attributed to lower cost of materials consumed in the quarter. Operating margin or OPM expanded from 12.33% in the Dec-19 quarter to 18.80% in Dec-20 quarter.
Consolidated Profit after tax (PAT) for the Dec-20 quarter was up 153.08% at Rs312.28cr as lower finance costs and the operating traction helped the bottom line. PAT margins expanded from 8.98% in Dec-19 to 16.94% in Dec-20.
