4 illegal mobile towers in Mapsko Casa Bella sealed

Gurgaon: The enforcement team of the department of town and country planning (DTCP) sealed four illegal mobile towers on Friday after complaints by the residents of Mapsko Casa Bella society in Sector 82.
According to DTCP officials, the towers were installed and being operated from the economically weaker section (EWS) tower of the society without permission from the department concerned, which is mandatory.
District town planner (enforcement) RS Batth said four mobile towers were sealed with immediate effect and RWA representatives have been called for a meeting to discuss other problems in the society on January 28.
Residents had earlier filed a complaint on the CM window, where they alleged that the towers were causing “adverse effects” on their health. Based on the complaint, the enforcement team visited the society and sealed the towers. During the visit, the terrace was also found to be poorly maintained, after which the maintenance team of the society was directed to clean it immediately.
“The developer handed over the project but the infrastructure is not complete, due to which we have to face problems on a daily basis,” a resident said.
Batth also announced that 10 complaints related to DTCP, received through the CM window, will be resolved on a priority basis every month.
He said there are several other issues mentioned in the complaints which are still pending, including fire safety norms, structural issues, rainwater harvesting, upgrade of sewage treatment plants, power infrastructure-related issues.
Meanwhile, the enforcement team also cleared around 800 square yards of government land near the Hanuman temple in Nathupur area of DLF-3 of encroachment on Friday.
