Brooklyn Nets' star Kevin Durant has been ruled out of Friday night's game at the Cleveland Cavaliers for Achilles injury rehab.

Durant played more than 50 minutes in the Nets' double overtime loss to the Cavaliers on Wednesday. Durant tallied 38 points, 12 rebounds and eight assists in Wednesday's loss.

Friday is also the first night of a back-to-back, as the Nets are slated to play the Miami Heat on Saturday. Durant has played in both games of a back-to-back games once this season, on Jan. 12 against the Nuggets and Jan 13 against the Knicks.

Durant said being able to play in back-to-backs was a goal of his after his Achilles injury. He tore his right Achilles in June 2018.

He is averaging 31.3 points, 7.5 rebounds and six assists per game this season.
