Yogi is again most popular CM of the country

Lucknow, Jan 22 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has been rated as the most popular Chief Minister in the country for the second consecutive term by wide-ranging India Today Mood Of The Nation survey.
The survey on Friday revealed that Mr Adityanath has emerged as the number one Chief Minister in the country leaving behind Arvind Keriwal of Delhi, Mamata Banerjee of West Bengal, Nitish Kumar of Bihar and Y S Jaganmohan Reddy of Andhra Pradesh considerably.
The notable feature of the survey was that many of the CMs included in it had been the Chief Minister for more than one term unlike Mr Adityanath, who, in his very first stint, left an indelible mark on the country's polity.
Not only this, the number of his admirers has increased since last year, another testimony of the fact that his popularity is heading northwards with every passing day.

The Fame India survey, published a few months ago, had also reckoned him as the most-popular Chief Minister in the country.
Overall, Prime Minister Narendra Modi was adjudged the most-popular leader but among eight CMs included in the report, Mr Adityanath had gone past other seven Chief Ministers bagging overall second position only after PM Modi.
In the list of top ten influential persons of the country, Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan was at number six while Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik was at number ten.
No wonder, the astute leadership, quick decision-making, honest image and futuristic vision for the development kept Mr Adityanath ahead of his counterparts as well as making a permanent place in the hearts of millions as the latest survey revealed.
Earlier in 2020, Mr Adityanath had emerged as the fastest CM in the country zooming past Udhav Thackeray of Maharashtra, Ms Banerjee of WB, Ashok Gehlot of Rajasthan and Shivraj Singh Chauhan of Madhya Pradesh.
Of late, the commendable initiatives taken by him to boost the investment in the state by making investor-friendly environment in the state, organising highly successful investors summit and defence expo besides giving state a net of Expressways for better infrastructure stood out in the whole country and even abroad.
Apart from this, his excellent leadership during the corona times turned out to be an exemplary covid management model in India as well as in other countries of the world. The kind of recognition he got for the Covid management was also the stamp on his competent governance and pro-people sensitivity which was evident in the manner he took care of each and every individual during the most trying times. The management of over 36 lakh migrants by way of providing them food, employment and shelter was praised by all and justifiably came in for appreciation from World Health Organisation (WHO).
