42 covid cases found

Aurangabad, Jan 21 (UNI) With the detection of 42 more COVID-19 cases, the tally on Thursday in the district surged to 46,667.
While one death was recorded during the past 24 hours and the death toll goes up to 1,229, district administration sources said here.
Also 72 patients wee recovered in the district during the past 24 hours, including 59 from Municipal Corporation areas and 13 from Rural areas. With this, total 45,520 patients have been cured so far.
At present, there are 218 active cases that are undergoing treatment at different hospitals and Covid care centres, the sources added.
