The Indian Medical Association (IMA) has announced a hunger strike on 1 February against myopathy. Over three lakh doctors are members of IMA across the country. From 1 to 15 February, IMA members across the country will join a gradual hunger strike.
During this time, the IMA will also put up posters and banners to raise awareness about the health of people across the country under its 'Save Indian Health Service' campaign. All members will inform their MPs and MLAs about the new notification of the government and the real picture of the threat of mixed policy and will also appeal to them for participation in the protests.
