ACB raids residences of BBMP executive engineer, recovers cash, jewellery

Bengaluru, Jan 22 (UNI) Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) sleuths on Friday raided executive engineer Aanjapappa's house in the city and other two places and recovered a huge amount of cash, jewellery and property documents.
During the raid in the city under the leadership of ACB Dy SP Parameshwara, sleuths recovered Rs 3 lakh cash, two cars.
While in Davanagere, a team led by SP Jayaprakash seized Rs 9.79 lakhs cash, seven land documents, four vehicles and property records of the houses.
The raids were conducted on a tip-off that Aanjapappa has accumulated wealth more than his known source of income.
A cases has been registered and investigation is on.
