Social service camp organised

Kakching, January 21 2021: Celebrating Statehood Day, volunteers of Joint Non Government Voluntary Organization (JNGVO) Kakching, All Kakching Students Union (AKSU) and Kakching Khunnai Chaokhat-hanba Lup (KKCL) cleaned Kakching Chumnang Leikai DC Road, today.

The social service was conducted under the theme "A healthy society with a green alter mission" .

Several students attending the free coaching class at Kakching Higher Secondary School also took part in the social service camp.

Saplings planted on either side of the road stretch were also looked after by the volunteers.

Kakching Municipal Council also lended a vehicle to carry waste.

Deputy Commissioner Kakching Kengoo Zuringla lauded the volunteers for their noble initiative.
