Armed gang robs 25 kg gold from Muthoot Finance in Tamil Nadu's Hosur

Hosur, Jan 22 (UNI) A five-member gang armed with guns stormed into the Muthoot Finance office at Hosur, border town of Tamil Nadu-Karnataka, and decamped with 25 kilograms of gold along with Rs 96,000 in cash on Friday.
According to police, the gang members covering their faces and wielding guns entered the office at around 0930 hrs and held staff including manager Srinivasa Raghav on gun point.
They have even assaulted some of the staff including a security guard, sources said.
After stealing the gold worth around 7.5 crore and cash the robbers also taken the recorder of CCTV with them.

Hosur Police visited the office and a case has been registered in this connection.
