Covid-19: 10,953 more vaccinated in Kerala, total crosses 35,000

T'PURAM: The state on Thursday vaccinated 10,953 healthcare workers. The target for the day was 12,944. To date, 35,773 healthcare workers have received their first dose of the Covid-19 vaccination.
The vaccination took place in 135 centres, including 15 in Ernakulam, 11 in Kozhikode, and 10 in Thiruvananthapuram, and. All other districts had nine centres each. The highest number of vaccinations took place in Ernakulam, 1,039.
The district-wise count of vaccinations carried out among the healthcare workers: Alappuzha, 711, Idukki, 594, Kannur, 880, Kasaragod, 682, Kollam, 819, Kottayam, 890, Kozhikode, 903, Malappuram, 802, Palakkad, 712, Pathanamthitta, 762, Thiruvananthapuram, 639, Thrissur, 818 and Wayanad, 702.
So far 4,69,616 people have registered for the Covid-19 vaccination. This includes healthcare workers and other frontline workers comprising 75,534 from the home department, 660 municipal workers, and 1,362 revenue employees.
